Manchester-based young fashion designer Olivia Welsh joins Harry for this week’s episode of Young at Art. She talks about how she founded her brand, Olivia Annabelle Apparel. Olivia’s design style is influenced by historical figures, books and periods in history from which she creates a selection of pieces designed in an array of bespoke prints.

She shares with us the inspiration behind her latest summer collection, ‘The Lady Vanishes’ and how a childhood of watching Agatha Christie adaptations resulted in her latest capsule collection which is available to shop now at  https://oliviaannabelle.co.uk.

Olivia also speaks to us about the principles of her brand and why, as a young designer, sustainability and ethical production is at the core of her business. She also tells us about some of her previous collections to date, and how she translates historical fashion into wearable pieces for a modern audience.
